Helping Out Your Hips
The hips are large ball and socket joints. They are deeply seated in our pelvis. In order to keep the hips (and our spines) healthy, we need to work both mobility and strength through our available motion. We especially need strength on the back of our hips, as we always tend to be a stronger along the front of our bodies.
Join us for this one hour full body yoga asana practice focused on exploring your hip mobility and finding stability. Our practice culminates in a single leg balance challenge, so please have a stable chair close by. As always, thank you so much for practicing with us.
Suggested Props:
strap (dog leash/ karate belt), blocks or stable chair, yoga mat, blanket or towel
