Earlier this fall, I was so fortunate to take a weekend meditation practice with buddhist teacher Pema Chodron. During the course of the weekend, Pema brought up again and again how our sitting meditation can be like opening a window and letting some fresh air in to mingle with the contents of our mind. Rather than pulling down the windows and drawing the shades when we are uncomfortable (which can be so habitual with difficult experiences like fear, or anger), instead we add awareness, breath, spaciousness.
Join us for this practice in cultivating spaciousness in mind and in one of the tightest areas of the body- the thoracic (middle) spine and rib basket. Practice sensing into the breath.
Thank you so much for joining us for your practice,

She teaches a weekly yoga class in her community, and we are fortunate enough to be able to join the class live through zoom or utilize these recordings!
This wonderful yoga class is more of a gentle, restorative yoga class with a focus on kindness to our body, breath and body awareness. I highly recommend you try it!
