Balancing Vata
In aryuvedic medicine, it is believed there are three primary doshas- types: kapaha, pitta, and vata.
The doshas are considered to be responsible for a person’s physiological, mental and emotional health.
It is believed we can work to enhance our health and bring these energies into balance through a thoughtful yoga practice.
Join us for our hour long, full body practice as we explore balancing vata energy by creating more grounding, rooted (kapha) experiences.
Please have a blanket or beach towel, a strap or long belt (dog leash works too), and a yoga block to support your practice.
As always, take gentle care of your body, and work with your right effort.

“As I often tell my students, the two most important phrases in therapy are:
‘Notice that’ and ‘What happens next’
Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than fear, everything shifts”
