Tidal Tank #4
Functional Strength Training

27m
We are super excited to start using the Tidal Tank in exercise classes to really work on strengthening!
To be as Parkinson's specific as possible, we want to focus more on functional strengthening than on general weights or machines.
We also want to focus more on strengthening the extensor muscles, than the flexors! We want to incorporate posture, balance and all the good stuff into all the forms of exercise we do. Instead of you trying to figure all of this out, we designed a class just for you!
Remember, safety first! Modify activities as needed! Use support for anything in standing as needed, use the chair to get up and down from the ground, take your time and skip or modify activities if you need it!
Equipment needed:
-Tidal Tank
-Yoga Mat!
-Hand Towel
-Light Hand Weights (1-3lbs) or something similar from around the house if you want to have them as an option for a modification.
-Water bottle!
-A great attitude
-Growth Mindset ;)
