Today Trina's dog Chana was at Rogue and she didn't really calm down for about 45 minutes so if you don't want to see a dog throw her toy on Trina while she teaches class this might not be a good class for you :)
Going With the Flow
When we get still, we can begin noticing what sensations are arising in the body. Investigating further, we might notice how we hold onto or grasp for favorable sensations, and push away sensations or experiences we consider to be negative. During this 60 minute yoga practice, you can settle into and investigate the felt sense of the body as we move through a full body practice.
Optional props: yoga mat, blanket or towel, strap (dog leash/ karate belt), blocks or stable chair.
Trina Mann is a physical therapist who specializes working with people who have Parkinson's in Northern California! She is also a 200hour R-yoga teacher! She teaches a weekly yoga class in her community, and we are fortunate enough to be able to join the class live through zoom or utilize these recordings!
This wonderful yoga class is more of a gentle, restorative yoga class with a focus on kindness to our body, breath and body awareness. I highly recommend you try it!

Remember - modify as needed. Don't do anything that doesn't feel safe. Use support as needed during standing exercises and use a chair for getting down on the ground and back up if you need it!
