We love the PWR! Moves and we don't want to give them up, but we do want to incorporate more strengthening exercises into our PWR! Moves Class. Strengthening is so important, for so many reasons! These classes will be more challenging then a typical PWR! Moves class :)
So welcome to PWR! Moves + Strength!
We will still do most of our basic PWR! Moves plus some of our variations in our typical positions (sitting, standing, all 4s, on our stomach and back) and then we will strengthen our muscles in different positions!
Ideally you have a set of hand weights and a resistance band (like this theraband: shorturl.at/fsyH4)
Remember - modify as needed. Don't do anything that doesn't feel safe. Use support as needed during standing exercises and use a chair for getting down on the ground and back up if you need it!
Equipment needed:
- Sturdy chair without arms
- Yoga Mat for the floor
- Workout towel for stretching and in case you break a sweat!
- Light Hand Weights (1-3 lbs) or something similar!
- Resistance band (shorturl.at/fsyH4)
