This class was taught live on 12-24-20
Over the course of the year, this class has gone through so many changes. First we were in person, then online. Then we opened up to everyone (not just folks with PD).
During all of the changes and yoga, I began to notice a change in the movement outcomes of the yogis who regularly showed up.
Their tree poses became more stable.
Their transfers from stand to ground and back up became more effortless.
In general, I noticed shifts in strength and mobility among the folks who came to class on a weekly basis.
Like most things that have unfolded this year- I just did not anticipate the change toward more function I observed in the movers. I was and am delighted to bear witness to their evolution.
In reverence of the change these folks have made, and as a celebration to mark the end of this first year of our yoga, I invite you to join us on this full body asana practice.
Nourish your spine, hips and encourage functional mobility with our “A Little Bit of Everything” practice. As always, respect the limitations of your body as you move through this sequence. Thank you for practicing with us.
Suggested Props:
