Lately, I have been noticing a need for more gentleness in my own physical practices and perspectives. I have been having conversations with several friends who suffer injuries from pushing aggressively, and I see this tendency to push in myself.
Finding right effort within the fire of our practice is an important part of the unfolding path of yoga.
Join us as we explore balancing gentleness in the midst of physical work. The peak pose of this class is parivrtta trikonasana- revolved triangle pose.

Trina Mann is a physical therapist who specializes working with people who have Parkinson's in Northern California! She is also a 200hour R-yoga teacher! She teaches a weekly yoga class in her community, and we are fortunate enough to be able to join the class live through zoom or utilize these recordings!

Remember - modify as needed. Don't do anything that doesn't feel safe. Use support as needed during standing exercises and use a chair for getting down on the ground and back up if you need it!
