Most individuals with Parkinson's will experience a change in their voice at some point in time. The most common change is hypophonia, which is a decrease in volume. Speech Therapy and continued practice can improve speech volume, clarity and can improve swallowing ability and research has shown a spread of effects to increased facial expression and gesturing!
